DANBURY, Conn. — Each week, WestConn Athletics selects one female and one male student-athlete as the Wolves of the Week, recognizing their outstanding performances in their respective sports from the previous week. Aylina Razeq (Danbury, Conn.) and junior
Eamon Moran (Stratford, Conn.) were named as the Wolves of the Week.
In a 63-15 blowout over Landmark Conference opponent Juniata College, the linebacker recorded a single-game career-high 2.5 sacks and eight total tackles to help lead the WestConn football team to its first conference win on Saturday.
Razeq went 3-1 in singles and doubles action, including three-straight victories for the WestConn women's tennis team. The senior was the driving force behind the Wolves first Little East Conference win over Vermont State University Castleton, where she clinched the match with a straight-set victory at No. 5 singles.
