MANSFIELD, Conn. - The visiting Western Connecticut State University Wolves and the Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors played an evenly-matched game, but the Warriors scored the lone goal of the contest in the 64th minute in a Little East Conference (LEC) women's soccer game this evening. WestConn falls to 10-6-2 overall and 4-2-1 in the LEC with its first loss in four games. The Warriors improve to 10-3-2 overall and 5-3-1 in the league. WestConn closes the conference schedule on Saturday with a road game against Keene State and a chance to secure a bye in the LEC Championship Tournament on the line.
WestConn took one more shot than Eastern Connecticut, 13-12, while the Warriors had four corner kicks to two for the Wolves. Sophomore
