WESTFIELD, Mass. - The visiting Western Connecticut State University Wolves suffered a 4-1 setback against the Westfield State University Owls in field hockey action this evening at Alumni Field. Westfield's Kaleigh Murphy scored 2:50 into the opening quarter, before Montalvo tied the game with 4:01 left in the first frame. Lilianna Atkins netted the game-winner with just 1:20 remaining before halftime. Montalvo got off two shots-on-goal in the third quarter but Olivia Labrie made a pair of saves for the Owls. Westfield State added two insurance goals in the fourth frame. Labrie finished with eight saves.
