BREWSTER, Mass. — The Western Connecticut State University men's golf team finished 16th overall out of 22 teams at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championships on Sunday with a team score of 74 over par. The University of Hartford came out on top with a score of 22 over par, followed by Western New England University at second (+24), Endicott College in third (+29) and Southern Maine rounding out the top four (+38). WestConn totaled 650 as a team, 13 strokes behind 15th-place Suffolk and one better than 17th-place St. Joseph's (Maine). Hartford won the team title with a 598.
Logan Starks (Mechanicville, N.Y.) improved his day two score by seven strokes to place 31st overall, after firing a 36 on the front with birdies at holes four and seven. The first-year fired a 153 over two rounds, including a 74 this afternoon
Timothy Larson (New Milford, Conn.) improved his score by one stroke to remain 42nd on the leader board and shot a 159. Sophomore
Anthony Nanfito (Middletown, Conn.) was 89th at 168.
On day one, Larson fired a team-best score of 81 to tie for the 42nd spot, followed by Starks, who tied for 59th with a score of 81. Playing as an individual,
Ashton Clark-Sanford (Salamanca, N.Y.) carded an 87 in round one with a 36 on the back, with birdies on holes 13 and 17.
The tournament was the last event for the Wolves in the fall 2025 season.
