EAST PATCHOUGUE, N.Y. - Four different players found the back of the net to propel the Western Connecticut State University women's soccer squad to a 4-1 win at non-conference opponent St. Joseph's University (L.I) on Sunday afternoon at Danzi Stadium.

Miranda Martincic (Whitestone, N.Y.) pierced the scoring column less than six minutes into the contest to give the visitors an early 1-0 lead. Senior forward
Suzana Imetovski (Seymour, Conn.) added to the advantage when she fired home her team-leading third goal of the campaign midway thru the opening half. The Wolves would hold the 2-0 advantage at the break.

Adriana Alfano (New Milford, Conn.) canned her first marker of the season before junior backer
Hannah Blacher (Allendale, N.J) buried her first in the 65th minute. The hosts were able to connect with the twine late to round the scoring out at 4-1.Â
With the victory, the Wolves improved to 3-1-1 overall while Saint Joseph's dropped to 3-1. The Wolves return to action at non-league opponent Vassar College on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
