CASTLETON, Vt. - Sophomore
Kelly Martyanov (Greenwich, Conn.) scored the game's only goal in the 66th minute to lead the visiting Western Connecticut State University Wolves to a 1-0 victory over the Vermont State University Castleton Spartans in Little East Conference (LEC) women's soccer action at Dave Wolk Stadium this afternoon. WestConn improves to 7-3-1 overall and 2-0 in the LEC, while the Spartans fall to 5-4 overall and 1-1 in the league. The Wolves will play at Worcester State next on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
