Emily Kiernan (Watertown, Conn.) won the 200-yard IM and the 100-yard butterfly, as the Western Connecticut State University Wolves opened the 2024 calendar year with a 100-57 setback against the visiting Mount St. Mary College Knights in women's swimming and diving action this afternoon in the O'Neil Center. WestConn falls to 1-7 in dual meets with a Little East tri-meet against Plymouth State and the host UMass-Dartmouth Corsairs up next on Friday at 1 p.m. Kiernan posted a winning time of 2:30.74 in the 200-yard IM and took first in the 100-yard fly at 1:07.13, while posting second in the 100-yard breaststroke.
