Suzana Imetovski (Seymour, Conn.) had a goal and two assists to lead the Western Connecticut State University Wolves to a 5-0 victory over the visiting Plymouth State University Panthers in Little East Conference (LEC) women's soccer action this morning at Westside complex. WestConn improves to 3-4-4 overall and 2-0-1 in the Little East, while the Panthers drop to . The Wolves will host Worcester State in their next game on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Plymouth State.
The WestConn offense started strong, nearly scoring early goals on shots by junior midfielder
Kyla Norton (East Hampton, Conn.) and Imetovski that were saved by Plymouth State goalie Sydney Rowe and finally breaking through on a long ball by senior midfielder
Hannah Daly (Newtown, Conn.) that bounced through a crowd in the box and into the goal in the 15th minute. Senior
Olivia Kotsaftis (Prospect, Conn.) assisted on the play. Norton scored moments later on a rebound of a shot by junior midfielder
Adriana Alfano (New Milford, Conn.) and the Wolves scored a third goal before halftime on an smooth individual move and shot from the left corner by junior midfielder
