GORHAM, Me. - Sophomore attackman
Julian Duque (Mastic, N.Y.) tallied a game-high four goals and dished out one assist to lead the Western Connecticut State University men's lacrosse team to a 22-4 victory at Little East Conference nemesis Southern Maine on Saturday afternoon at Hannaford Field.

Stephen Cicchetti (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) added three goals and one helper while classmate attackman
Trey Aronow (Holbrook, N.Y.) chipped in with a hat trick. Senior
Benjamin Hawthorne (Manorville, N.Y.) tickled the twine once and dished out a game-high three assists for the Wolves.
Schulyer Wetmore took part in three of the four goals tallied by Southern Maine. He led the way with two goals and one assist.
The Wolves led from start-to-finish, opening the contest with a 6-0 run. Duque netted two of his goals during the spurt.Â
The visitors continued to pour it on in the second quarter en route to a 13-1 halftime advantage. Duque struck for his team-leading 38th goal of the season and Cicchetti completed the hat trick during the barrage.Â

Aidan Mulligan (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) rounded out the scoring with a pair of goals for the winners.
With the victory, WestConn improved to 10-3 overall and 4-0 in conference play, while the Huskies dropped to 2-10 and 0-4. The Wolves return to action for another LEC tilt when they host UMass Boston on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
