CORTLAND, N.Y. - Freshman diver
Jayden Satir (Greenwich, Conn.) won the three-meter event with a score of 471.25 to highlight day one for the Western Connecticut State University Wolves in the Snow Flurries Swimming and Diving Invitational at SUNY Cortland this evening.
Rookie
Emily Kiernan (Watertown, Conn.) earned a third-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly on Friday for the WestConn women, who finished the weekend with 72 points and in sixth place. On Saturday, Kiernan registered and a fifth-place showing in the 400-yard IM and placed sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:51.50.
Satir followed up his winning performance on Friday with a second-place score of 431.85 off the one-meter board on Saturday. Wolves freshman
Eric Quiterio (Windsor, Conn.) recorded a sixth-place performance in the 200-yard fly as WestConn totaled 165 points and placed sixth among the men's schools.
