DANBURY, Conn. - Rookie Ciara Roberts (Stratford, Conn.) notched a first place finish in the 500-yard freestyle, clocking a time of 6:28.69 as the Western Connecticut State University women's swimming and diving squads hosted Hunter College on Friday night at the O'Neill Center.

Classmate Emily Kiernan (Watertown, Conn.) also put forth solid performances for the Wolves. She touched the wall for third place in the 100-yard freestyle during the first event of the evening at 1:03.17 before a second place spot in the 50-yard butterfly, 31:03. She continued her stellar swimming with yet another second place finish in the 100-yard IM at 1:12.48.

WestConn returns to the water on Saturday, November 18 at Lehman College.
