Narcisse Notches First Singles Win as Wolves Blank Lehman

DANBURY, Conn. - Junior Jerry Narcisse (Norwalk, Conn.) notched his first singles win of the season as the Western Connecticut State University men's tennis team blanked visiting non-conference foe Lehman College, 9-0, on Thursday afternoon at Westside Courts.

"Nice win today. We did what we needed to do, especially in the windy and cold conditions. It was good to get everyone in the lineup today, as well," stated Wolves head coach Shawn Stillman following the win.

Senior Jay Kilcourse (New Fairfield, Conn.) and sophomore Kevin Tenesaca (Danbury, Conn.) combined to win the closest match of the day, coming up victorious in the No. 1 doubles slot for WestConn.

They would also win their respective singles matches. Junior Adam Wolfe (Ridgefield, Conn.) also put forth a stellar effort at the No. 6 singles slot, downing his opponent in straight sets.

With the victory, WestConn improved to 4-7 overall, while Lehman dropped to 2-7. The Wolves return to action when they host LEC opponent Southern Maine on Saturday at 1 p.m.
