DANBURY, Conn. - The Western Connecticut State University men's tennis team improved to 5-7 overall and 2-2 in Little East Conference play following a 8-1 victory over visiting Southern Maine on Saturday afternoon at Westside Courts.
"This was a solid win today as we are playing for the seeding in our conference playoffs. Our guys were ready and played well. Hopefully we can continue this trend next week," said WestConn head coach

Nicholas Peschier (Bridgeport, Conn.) took to the court for the first time as partners and won a thrilling match at the No. 3 double slot for the Wolves.
WestConn would continue to dominate the rest of the afternoon en route to victory.
The Wolves will look to keep the momentum rolling in a positive direction when they host non-conference foe Farmingdale State on Monday at 3:30 p.m.
