Franz Muhaj (Bridgeport, Conn.) each tallied goals for the visitors.
WestConn drew first blood when Muhaj fired a shot into the back of the net on a penalty kick attempt less than six minutes into play.
They would capitalize on yet another penalty kick when Restrepo blasted home a shot, extending the lead to 2-0 in the 56th minute.
The visitors would also bang a pair of shots off the post as they put the pressure on the Owls for most of the night. WestConn would finish ahead in shots, 23-6, and corner kicks, 10-3.
The squad returns to action for a non-league matchup when they host John Jay College on Wednesday at 7 p.m. They open LEC play at Rhode Island College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
