DANBURY, Conn. - Freshman
Rosaleen Regan (Monroe, N.J.) scored a team-high 12 points to lead the Western Connecticut State University women's basketball team to a 72-30 victory over visiting City College of New York at Feldman Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Ashley Rilley (Orangeburg, N.Y.) and two-sport standout
Olivia Monteleone (Cold Spring, N.Y.) added 10 points apiece for the winners, now 2-2 on the season.
The Beavers, which were short-staffed on Saturday with just five players in uniform, were led by Fatoumata Nantoume (New York, N.Y.) finished with a game-high 13 points while Charlotte Foberg (Hoboken, N.J.) poured in 10 points.
Fatoumata buried a three-point bucket 31 seconds into the contest to give CCNYÂ its only lead,. 3-2.
WestConn doubled the Beavers point production in the paint, 28-14 and finished with a convincing 33-4 advantage on points scored after the visitor's turnover.
On the afternoon, WestConn shot 33.7% from the field (31-of-92) and went to the free-throw line just five times, making three of them.
Jasmine Caldwell (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) led WestConn with nine rebounds while
Gabrielle Franks (Madison, Conn.) hauled down eight caroms.
Forberg completed a double-double after gathering 13 rebounds in the loss.
WestConn travels to Mitchell College on Wednesday, November 24. Tip-off time has changed to 1 pm for the pre-Thanksgiving affair.
CCNY, 0-1, play host to Farmingdale State College on Monday, November 29. Game time against the Rams is set for 6 pm.
