Women's Soccer Keeps Rolling With 6-0 Win at UMass-Dartmouth

DARTMOUTH, Mass. - Junior midfielder Myah Croze (Bristol, Conn.) tallied a pair of goals as the Western Connecticut State University women's soccer team cruised to a 6-0 victory at UMass-Dartmouth in a Little East Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon at Cressy Field.

With the win, WestConn improved to 14-0 overall and 6-0 in divison play, while the Corsairs dropped to 1-10-1 and 0-6.

It was all WestConn from start-to-finish as they erupted to outshoot the hosts, 26-3, and maintain an 11-1 corner kick advantage.

Croze netted her 21st goal of the season in the 25th minute of play before assisting on another, giving WestConn a 3-0 lead at halftime.

She buried her team-leading 22nd of the campaign less than a minute into the second stanza before rookie Suzana Imetovski (Seymour, Conn.) connected on her seventh of the year. Shortly thereafter, classmate Adriana Alfano (New Milford, Conn.) rounded out the barrage at 6-0 in the 66th minute with her first scoring strike of the year.

WestConn will seek to remain undefeated when they travel to non-league host Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
