Nick Kyriakidis

Nick Kyriakidis joined the Western Connecticut State University men's soccer program as an assistant coach in 2020 and was promoted to associate head coach for the fall of 2024. In this role, Kyriakidis is responsible for all aspects of the program, directly assisting WestConn Hall of Fame Head Coach Joe Mingachos. Kyriakidis holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in economics from WestConn, where he captained the soccer team to its first Little East Conference (LEC) title in 12 years.

Kyriakidis has been instrumental in WestConn's success, helping the team achieve a 67-16-8 record over the past five years. His recruitment efforts led to an unbeaten 20-0-2 season and an LEC Regular Season Championship in 2022, followed by LEC titles and NCAA Tournament appearances in 2023 and 2024.  In 2022, the Wolves set records for consecutive wins and games unbeaten in program history and finished with the best goals-against average in the nation to earn the coaching staff LEC and United Soccer Coaches Region I Staff of the Year honors.

Beyond WestConn, Kyriakidis has coached at AC Connecticut since 2021, currently serving as Head Coach for the U19 ECNL team. He also owns Spartan Soccer School, where he runs College ID Camps providing mentorship in the college recruitment process.
