Chase Caruso, a 2007 graduate from Salisbury University, enters his first season as an Assistant Defensive Coach for the Western Connecticut State University men's lacrosse program.

A native of Huntington, NY, Chase was a standout player at Salisbury University from 2005-2007.  As a player, he served as team captain in 2007, eventually leading his team to an NCAA Division III National Championship.  He was a three time First Team United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All- American and was the USILA Division III Player of the Year in 2007.

In 2020, Caruso played professionally in the Major Lacrosse League for the Denver Outlaws.  During the 2020 season, the Outlaws competed in the MLL Championship, falling short by three goals to the Boston Cannons.

Chase earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and Physical Education.
