Procino returned to his alma mater in 2016 and is the longest tenured assistant for Head Coach Guy Rancourt.           Last winter, WestConn posted started 8-8, before righting the ship and grinding out out a 10-game winning streak, and beating No. 21-ranked Keene State on senior night. The Wolves finished with an 18-9 record, including a 13-3 mark in conference play, and reached its third consecutive Little East Conference (LEC) Finals.  Procino was a key factor in developing Cameron Gallon into a two-time All-LEC player and Jourdan Belcher who received LEC All-Defensive Team recognition.
In 2023-2024, the Wolves dominated the league with a 14-2 record inside conference play, including a 76-73 win at No. 6-ranked Keene State.  The Wolves were ranked among the top five nationally in seven defensive statistics.  WestConn narrowly missed the NCAA tournament after losing to Keene State in the LEC Championship game despite a 22-5 overall record. Jaheim Young finished his career with a breakout senior campaign,  becoming the first player since 2016 to score 1,000 points and receiving All-LEC First Team accolades, while Gallon made the all-conference second team and Melo Williams garnered LEC All-Defensive recognition.
In 2022-2023,  the Wolves stormed out of the gate to win 19 of their first 20 games, winning by an average of 21 points and finished the season at 22-5. WestConn's year came to a close in the league championship game with an overtime loss to No. 4-ranked Keene State.  The Wolves boasted one of the top defensive teams in the nation while averaging 86 points per contest.  Procino was the lead recruiter and played a hand in the development of All-Region forward Kendall Robinson, who also collected WestConn's coveted male athlete of the year award and fielded professional offers from teams all over the world.  Robinson is currently playing in Slovenia. Additionally, Ryan Alkins was named All-LEC Second Teamer off the bench as a senior.
Procino played a big role in WestConn winning the  2020 LEC regular season and tournament championship titles,  helping to bring 11 first-year players onto the roster. That squad included Fenton Bradley Jr. who was named LEC Player of the Year and is currently playing professionally in Denmark and Ahmad Privott who was All-LEC Second Team as a sophomore.
In the summer of 2019, Coach Procino was selected to be part of USA Basketball’s Pan American Games Training Camp in Providence, Rhode Island. Serving under current Washington Wizard’s (NBA) coach Mike Longabardi, Procino helped prepare star players from top Division I programs for international competition.
Upon graduating from WestConn in 2009, Procino enjoyed a four-year career as a professional player in several pro leagues stateside such as the EBA, the PBA and the APBL.  At WestConn, Procino was a three-year letter winner and was named to the All-LEC Second Team as a junior and senior and All-Metro Third Team as a junior. He was also a member of the WestConn's baseball team in 2007.
