Eric Crandall

Eric Crandall is entering his first season at Western Connecticut State University.  Eric has been named the Co-Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers coach for the 2016 season.  

Crandall has joined the football family at Western after eight years at NCAA III SUNY Buffalo State located in Buffalo, NY.  While at Buffalo State, Crandall was the Junior Varsity Head Coach, Junior Varsity Defensive Coordinator, Video Coordinator, and Linebackers Coach.  During his time at Buffalo State, Crandall has coached seven All-Conference players, two All-Region players, one conference defensive player of the year, and one All-American.

Crandall earned a Chemistry and Mathematics degree from SUNY Buffalo but began his playing career at the University of Rochester in New York.  He is a current member of the American Football Coaches Association, and resides on the Meeting Room Committee for the AFCA.

Crandall currently resides in Danbury, Connecticut with his wife Michele.
