Alex Drayson was named the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach at WestConn in 2017.
In his first season, he helped quarterback Quinn Fleeting win Conference Player of the Year, while leading the conference in passer rating and lifting the Colonials to the top offense in the conference.
In 2018, the WestConn offense again finished as the top offense in the conference, as Drayson helped QB David James lead the conference in passer rating.
In his first two seasons, Drayson has coached 3 All-Conference players and one Conference Player of the year, and his quarterbacks have each led the conference in passer rating.
Before taking over the offense at WestConn, Drayson was the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach at Trinity Catholic High School, where he helped the program rebuild and turn into one of the top offenses in the state, including a state playoff run.
Prior to that, Drayson had coaching stops at Staples High School and Fordham University.
In addition to his work in coaching, Drayson has worked in private industry as a business owner in the sport performance industry.
He graduated from Elon University in 2010 with a degree in The Psychology of Coaching and Leadership. Drayson resides in Norwalk, CT, with is wife Ashley and son Carter.
