Alex Cordone joined the WestConn baseball coaching staff in fall of 2022. He specializes in catching and strength training. The WestConn catching crew has improved immensely under Cordone's guidance. He works with them intensely at every practice in all aspects of the catching game. On game days, Cordone ia a valuable resource both on the field and in the dugout between innings. Cordone also runs the team's weight training sessions during both the non-traditional season in the fall and the spring season.
Cordone was a four-year member of the WestConn baseball team during his time at the school. He was an outstanding defensive backstop for the Wolves. He graduated with a degree in history and is pursuing a career as a secondary education teacher. Cordone is also on his way to a certification in strength training through the National Association of Sports Medicine.
