DELHI, N.Y. - The visiting Western Connecticut State University Wolves finished 43 strokes better than the SUNY Delhi Broncos and won their season-opening women's golf dual match this afternoon at Delhi College Course. The Wolves finished at 432 and the Broncos totaled 475, as the visitors held the third, fourth, and fifth, and sixth spots on the leaderboard. Junior
Mackenzie Shook (New Milford, Conn.) was third with a 104, followed by sophomore
Felicity Fuller (Colorado Springs, Colo.) in second with a 108, and by juniors
Mackenzie Day (New Hudson, Mich.) and Marina Friedman (Kennebunk, Maine) tied for fourth at 111. Madison Paddock won medalist honors for the Broncos with a 91. WestConn will compete in the Eastern Connecticut Invitational next on Friday, September 11.
