DANBURY, Conn. - The Western Connecticut State University Wolves are set to compete in the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Golf Championship Tournament this weekend at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Massachusetts.  WestConn will tee off for the first round on Saturday at 9 a.m.  Admission is free for spectators.  The Wolves, coached by Adam Lanehart (3rd Season), finished seventh in the 2025 LEC Tournament, but are hopeful for an improved finish after seeing some promising results over the last few weeks

WestConn defeated SUNY Delhi in a dual match and placed ahead of Lasell in the Eastern Connecticut Warrior Collegiate Invitational in September.  Sophomore Felicity Fuller (Colorado Springs, Colo) finished 27th in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships last weekend, while senior Kaelin Giddings (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) and junior Mackenzie Shook (New Milford, Conn.), are also experienced member of this year's squad.
