DELHI, N.Y. - Junior Anthony Nanfito (Middletown, Conn.) fired a 75 to tie for 10th on the leaderboard and lead the Western Connecticut State University Wolves to fourth place as a squad in the SUNY Delhi Bronco Men's Golf Invitational this afternoon at the Delhi College Golf Course.  WestConn totaled 306 with its lowest-scoring group to finish seven strokes better than the other WestConn group and two strokes shy of third-place Apprentice.  SUNY Delhi won the team title with a 287.  The Wolves will head to the Mitchell Invitational next on Wednesday at Shennecossett Golf Course.

Nanfito was the lowest-scoring of six Wolves to finish below 80 among the two WestConn groups in the tournament.  Freshman Daniel Zaleta (Danbury, Conn.) enjoyed a nice collegiate debut with a 76 to tie sophomore teammate Lawson Leibrock (Fairfield, Conn.) who was also playing in his first collegiate golf competition.  WestConn junior Braden Kassel (Washougal, Wash.) and sophomore Matt Hayes (New Milford, Conn.) both tied for 16th with a 77 and senior Luke Reis (Mahopac, N.Y.) shot a 78.
