DANBURY, Conn. - The anticipation of dangerously stormy weather in the Northeast has caused the cancelation and postponement of multiple Western Connecticut State University sporting events on Saturday, September 26, including a home football versus Kean University and a home women's soccer game against the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. The football game scheduled for a noon kickoff has been canceled and the women's soccer game scheduled for 5 p.m. has been postponed to Monday, September 28 at 4 p.m. 

The Wolves field hockey game scheduled for Saturday at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth has also been postponed and will be played on Monday at 5 p.m.  WestConn's women's tennis match scheduled for 1 p.m. at Salem State University has been postponed. The Wolves volleyball tri-match at Vermont State University Castleton with the Spartans and Russell Sage College is not canceled and WestConn opens that event with a 9:30 am. match versus Castleton followed by a 1 p.m. tilt versus the Sage Gators.
