DANBURY, Conn. - The Western Connecticut State University men's soccer squad cruised to a 4-0 shutout over Lehman College on Wednesday night at the Westside Athletic Complex, scoring in every phase of the match and out-shooting the visitors 21-4.

Enzo LaGrassa-Gillet (Miami Beach, Fla.) opened the scoring in the 11th minute, netting a blast into the twine off a feed from senior

Chance Campbell (Bartow, Fla.) doubled the lead just before halftime, converting a beautiful lofting feed from graduate student
Ben Tomas (Danbury, Conn.) in the 39th minute. WestConn pulled away in the second half when junior
Nickolas Santana (New Haven, Conn.) buried his third goal of the season in the 64th minute off a LaGrassa-Gillet assist, and sophomore
Gabriel Souza (Danbury, Conn.) capped the scoring with his first career goal in the 82nd minute.

WestConn dominated possession throughout, piling up nine corner kicks to Lehman's zero and forcing goalkeeper Matthew Strainz (sophomore, Queens, N.Y.) into five saves. Senior

Romario Bunjaj (Mahopac, N.Y.) each had multiple corner kicks.

On the defensive end of the field, senior
Justin Rivest (Repetigny, Quebec) and freshman
Aime Ruggles (Bronx, N.Y.) combined for a clean sheet in goal, needing no saves as Lehman managed just four shots with none being on target — the closest chance coming when sophomore Ashraf Abubakar (Bronx, N.Y.) rang a shot off the post in the second minute of the contest.

With the win, WestConn improved to 4-1-3 on the season, while Lehman fell to 1-2-1. The Wolves return to action for an LEC matchup against visiting Plymouth State on Saturday at 1 p.m.
