BALTIC, Conn. - Sophomore Matt Hayes (New Milford, Conn.) tied for 12th with a 75 to lead the Western Connecticut State University Wolves to a tie for fourth place in the ECSU Warrior Collegiate Men's Golf Invitational at Mohegan Sun Golf Course this afternoon.  WestConn totaled 307 to tie the New England College Pilgrims and place three strokes higher than sixth place Roger Williams.  The Wolves were seven strokes behind third-place Southern Maine, while the host Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors won the team title at 300.  WestConn freshman Archer Cassety (Asbury, N.J.) tied for 17th with a 76, freshman Daniel Zaleta (Danbury, Conn.) tied for 19th with a 78, and sophomore Logan Starks (Mechanicville, N.Y.) added a 79 to tie for 24th.  WestConn will compete in the New England Classic in Boston next on Sunday, September 20.
