DANBURY, Conn. - Each week, WestConn Athletics selects one female and one male student-athlete as the Wolves of the Week, recognizing their outstanding performances in their respective sports from the previous week. The honorees are announced every Wednesday.  The 31st Wolves of the Week in the 2025-26 academic year for their stellar performances on the field and the diamond, women's lacrosse  senior Mia Negus (Rocky Point, N.Y.) and baseball junior Ryan Vallie (East Haven, Conn.) were named the Wolves of the Week for the final week of the academic year.

To close out the regular season Vallie went 8-12 in three games, to go with a pair of runs, two doubles and a stolen base.

Negus notched two free-position goals, grabbed seven groundballs and caused five turnovers in three postseason games.
