Box Score PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Aidan Burke (Wilton, Conn.) won at No. 1 Singles in straight sets in the Western Connecticut State University men's tennis team's Little East Conference (LEC) loss at Rhode Island College on Wednesday. The Wolves moved to 3-10 and 1-3 in the league, while RIC improved to 6-2 and 3-0.

RIC nabbed the doubles point, followed by Singles win at No. 2, 6 and 3 for a 4-0 lead before Burke won 6-2 and 6-3 to put WestConn on the board.

"We came out in doubles very flat, making mistakes, and not moving our feet. Definitely the poorest doubles outing of the season," head men's tennis coach Shawn Stillman said. "However, in singles, we turned it around and played competitive and smart tennis. Nice win by Aidan and a couple other courts were close."
