Matthews Rocha (Danbury, Conn.) scored the first two goals of his collegiate career to lead the Western Connecticut State University Wolves to a 6-0 victory over the visiting John Jay College Bloodhounds in men's soccer action this afternoon at Westside Stadium. The Wolves scored four times in the first 22 minutes of play and yielded just four shots on goal. WestConn improves to 5-4-2 with its fourth consecutive win and extends its unbeaten streak to five games. John Jay drops to 1-8 with its fifth setback in a row. The Wolves will host Little East Conference (LEC) rival UMass Dartmouth next on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Aidan Roxo (Danbury, Conn.) fed Rocha on the second marker less than three minutes later. Rocha scored again in the 18th minute and both Roxo and Gomez Herrera made quick passes to assist Santana on the fourth goal to give the home team a 4-0 advantage with 23:55 left in the first half.
