Box Score WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — The Western Connecticut State University women's tennis team dropped its season opener, 7-0, to intrastate opponent University of Saint Joseph's ( Conn.) at the Elizabeth Ferry Speer Tennis Complex on Thursday. The Wolves fell 0-1 to start the year, while the Blue Jays improved to 2-2 overall.

At No. 5 Singles, Aylina Razeq (Danbury, Conn.) had the closest match for the Wolves with a 6-1, 6-2 match against Daynah Echevarria.

WestConn remains on the road to face the Little East Conference foe UMass Boston on Saturday.
