DANBURY, Conn. — Each week, WestConn Athletics selects one female and one male student-athlete as the Wolves of the Week, recognizing their outstanding performances in their respective sports from the previous week. The honorees are announced every Wednesday. The second Wolves of the Week in the 2025-26 year have been selected for their stellar performances on the field and the court. Volleyball's senior
Maggie Ferguson (Southbury, Conn.) and graduate defensive end
Kile Jackson (Danbury, Conn.) have been named as Wolves of the Week.
Jackson blocked a PAT with 10 seconds left to preserve the victory, as the Wolves outlasted the visiting William Paterson University Pioneers, 21-20, in the football season opener for both teams this evening at Westside Stadium. WestConn took advantage of a William Paterson turnover to score first, as Jackson recovered a fumble forced by junior LB
