PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Western Connecticut State University Wolves were picked to finish seventh in the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Tennis 2025 Pre-Season Poll.  WestConn, coached by Shawn Stillman (12th Season), finished 5-9 overall and finished seventh in the conference with a 2-6 record against league opponents last fall.  The defending champion UMass Boston Beacons received 62 points and six first-place votes to rank No. 1 in the 2025 LEC Women's Tennis Pre-Season Poll, while Rhode Island College had 59 votes and three for first place.  UMass Dartmouth collected 47 points and Bridgewater State had 44 to round out the top four selections. 

The Wolves open the 2025 season on the road against St. Joseph (Conn.) on Thursday, September 11.  WestConn's Little East home opener will be on Monday, September 15 against Bard at 4 p.m.  The Wolves begin LEC play on Saturday, September 13 at UMass Boston at 1 p.m. and the Wolves' final home match of the 15-contest fall slate will be on Saturday, October 18 against LEC rival UMass Dartmouth as part of the schools Homecoming Weekend festivities..
