DANBURY, Conn. - The Western Connecticut State University Wolves dropped a 7-0 decision against the visiting Springfield College Pride in men's tennis action this afternoon at Westside Courts. WestConn drops to 1-6 with its fourth setback in a row, while the Pride improves to 9-1 with their straight victory. Aidan Burke (Wilton, Conn.) led, 5-4, at the top of the ladder before losing the next three games for a 7-5 defeat.
"We knew the challenges we faced today versus Springfield," said WestConn Head Coach Shawn Stillman. "We played similar opponents in Florida. We want these challenges and these tough tests, as they will make us stronger and better as the season moves forward."
