Julia Stoliker (Red Hook, N.Y.) had 21 kills and 21 digs to lead the Western Connecticut State Unviersity Wolves to a 3-2 victory over the visiting University of Massachusetts Boston Beacons in Little East Conference (LEC) volleyball action this afternoon at Feldman Arena. WestConn came back from a 2-1 deficit to win, 29-17, in th fourth set and, 18-16, in the fifth to snap a three-match losing skid and improve to 13-6 overall and 2-3 in the LEC. UMass Boston drops to 11-10 overall and 3-1 in the league. The Wolves will host Rutgers-Newark next on Tuesday at 7 p.m. WestConn won the first set, 25-22, and lost the next two, 25-14, and, 25-20.
WestConn trailed, 10-5, early and 19-15, later in the fourth set but rallied to tie the score at 19-19 with a 4-0 run that included consecutive kills by senior

Ava Grace Gardner (New York, N.Y.) scored three of the eight points on blocks. UMass Boston led, 15-14, and, 16-15, but WestConn managed to score the match's final three points to clinch it.
