LAKELAND, Fla. - The Western Connecticut State University women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback against Macalester College on Thursday during its Florida trip. With the loss, the Wolves fell to 8-11 overall.
"While we ran into a tough team today, it doesn't take away from the amazing week we had. We competed hard. We supported each other. The weather was great, and the experience was unforgettable," said WestConn head coach Shawn Stillman following play.
The Wolves return home with a lengthy break before meeting up with Bard College.
