WestConn Men's Swimming And Diving Downs SUNY-Delhi

BRONX, N.Y. - Freshman diver Jayden Satir (Greenwich, Conn.) posted NCAA-qualifying scores off both boards to lead the Western Connecticut State University Wolves to a 142-10 win over the SUNY-Delhi Broncos in men's swimming and diving action this afternoon at Lehman College's Apex Aquatic Center.  The Wolves, which also suffered a 115-87 setback against the host Lightning in the quad meet that also included Fashion Institute, are now 3-3.  WestConn will return to the water on December 1 and 2, traveling to SUNY-Cortland for the Snow Flurries Invitational.  Satir registered a score of 284.92 off the one-meter board and added a 297.97 off the three-meter board, setting new WestConn records in both events.  Wolves freshman Eric Quiterio (Windsor, Conn.) posted winning times of 2:02.08 in the 200-yard freestyle and 2:15.51 in the 200-yard IM, respectively, and was second in the 100-yard free at 52.86.  WestConn sophomore Rafael Masbad (Ansonia, Conn.) won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:14.64.
