Jaheim Young (Brooklyn, N.Y.) added 10 points to lead the Western Connecticut State University men's basketball team to a 64-51 victory over Plymouth State University at Foley Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
WestConn, now 8-7 overall and 2-5 in the Little East Conference, put an end to its mini three-game slide, dating back to January 3 when it defeated Castleton University, 75-47, also on the road.

Ahmod Privott (Middletown, Conn.) led the winners with a game-high 13 rebounds while contributing five points to WestConn's offense.
Dante Rivera (Lawrence, Mass.)Â led the Panthers with 10 points while Kevnin Henry (Stratham, N.H.), Gerald Fleming (Tampa, Fla.) and Yansel Reyes (Manchester, N.H.) each added nine markers in the loss.
The hosts led by as many as 12 points, 28-16, following a three-point bucket from Reyes with 4:58 remaining in the first half.
WestConn pecked away at the deficit and drew within a point, 29-28 on a Privott long-range three at the intermssion buzzer. His bucket capped off a 12-1 run to head into the break.
Robinson converted a lay in 1:05 into the second stanza to give WestConn its first lead, 30-29 and the visitors never trailed again.
WestConn travels to Rhode Island College on Monday, January 24. Game time with the Anchormen is set for 7:30 pm in Providence, R.I.
Plymouth State, now 7-7 overall and 2-3 in the league, play host to University of Southern Maine on Monday. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 pm in the Live Free of Die state.
