Chris Arconti returns to the Western Connecticut State University baseball coaching staff in the fall of 2025.  

He came to WestConn after six seasons as an assistant at nearby Immaculate High School, where the Mustangs were crown Class S State Champions during his tenure.

Arconti was a four-year player for the Colonials before graduating in 1983 with a degree in Marketing.  He captained the team during his senior campaign.

His playing career spans over 40 years.  Since 1977, Arconti has been a pitcher in the Housatonic Amateur Baseball League.  He has won 30 league championships and seven Connecticut titles in the HABL.

Currently, he is a member of four basball leagues including the Newtown Outlaws, Danbury Bandits and Danbury A's.  His Boston Wolfpack Baseball Club has won or finished as runner-up in over 30 national and regional over-45 and over-50 age brackets.  He has amassed 450 pitching victories over the last 35 years and has been named Most Valuable Player in various national and regional tournaments 11 times.

Arconti served as President of the Danbury Westerners Collegiate Baseball team and was the recipient of the Michael Seri Community Service Award, from the Westerners, in 2013.

In 2015, he was the recipient of the Greater Danbury Old Timers Award in 2015.

Arconti has been elected to three terms and is currently a Third Ward Councilman for the City of Danbury.

He is married to WestConn alumnus Betty and has two sons C.J. and Nick.
