Amy Krompinger returns for a fourth season with the Western Connecticut State University field hockey program in the fall of 2026. She is a former Division I player at the University of Connecticut, where she was a defensive player and a participant in the NCAA Final Four. Krompinger owns and is the head coach of AIM Athletes Field Hockey club based in nearby Newtown and is a Level 2 USAFH Field Hockey Coach.
Krompinger is currently a member of the USA Masters Over-35 team, playing forward for Masters squad. This summer, she competed in the 2026 World Cup in the Netherlands. Her previous tours included participating in the 2023 Pan American Games in Argentina and the Indoor CanAm games in Toronto in 202. Krompinger lives with her husband and three children in Newtown.
