Western Connecticut State University has announced the hiring of Alex Berg as an assistant coach for the 2025-26 season. Berg comes to WestConn from Fairfield Ludlowe High School, where he was the offensive coordinator in 2024 and 2025. He has also coached at Fairfield Country Day School and with the Dragons Lacrosse AAU Club.
Berg attended Wheaton College in Massachusetts, earning a bachelor's degree in chemistry in 2022. He was an all-league, all-academic selection and played in New England and National college all-star games while playing with the Lyons. Berg was nominated for and completed The Program Leadership development program.
