Adam Lanehart '10 was named the WestConn Head Men's Golf Coach prior to the 2022-23 season and became the first-ever head coach the Wolves' varsity women's golf program in its inaugural season in 2024-25.  Lanehart is also an equipment manager in the WestConn Athletic Department.  WestConn finished a best-ever third in the 2024 Little East Conference (LEC) Championships and posted the highest-ever finish in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championships with a 14th-place performance on Cape Cod last fall.

Lanehart possesses 10-plus years experience as both the equipment manager at Joel Barlow High School in Redding, Connecticut and as director of operations for Redding Easton Youth Lacrosse which have given him the necessary background in equipment management, inventory and procurement, budget management, and safety to make him a valued contributor to the WestConn Athletics administrative staff.

Lanehart was also head men's lacrosse coach and assistant football coach at Joel Barlow for 10 years and enters his seventh season as an assistant men's lacrosse coach with the Wolves that includes three years as the team's offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator.  Lanehart helped Barlow to two State Championships and three Conference Championships during his tenure with the Falcons.  In 2013, he was named USLacrosse and Class-S Assistant Coach of the Year.  With the Wolves, Lanehart played a pivotal role in WestConn's 2023 LEC title season, its LEC regular season crown in 2024, and its undefeated run to both the LEC regular-season and tournament championships last spring.

Lanehart played four seasons of lacrosse for WestConn and earned a bachelor's degree in justice and law administration.  He has also worked as a behavioral therapist at Joel Barlow High School.  During his playing career at WestConn, Lanehart was named LEC Rookie of the Year (2007), ECAC All-New England (2008) and was a three-time All-Little East Conference player.  In 2008, Lanehart helped lead WestConn to an LEC Championship and their first NCAA Tournament appearance in school history.  Lanehart captained the team for two seasons and graduated as the program's all-time leader in goals (169) and points (211).  Lanehart currently resides in Redding with his wife, Megan, and son, Xander.
