Samantha Morris-Avery attended Western Connecticut State University and graduated in 2012 with her degree in Health Promotions and Exercise Science.
During her four years playing softball she was a four-time Little East Conference Tournament participant, an NCAA Regional Tournament Participant, Second-Team All-Little East Conference Player, three-time Scholar Athlete, and a two-time WestConn Defensive Player of the Year. She was a Captain her senior year.
Since graduating, Samantha received her Masters Degree in Athletic Administration and has worn multiple administrative hats in high education. She is currently the Associate Director of Alumni Relations for the Nursing and Pharmacy Programs at the UCONN Foundation. She also continues to be highly involved in the softball world by volunteer Coaching at Enfield Little league and working clinics with WestConn Head Coach Heather Stone.
