  • Malik Dawkins Named To MASCAC Sportsmanship Team

    WESTFIELD, MA – 56 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) student-athletes have been recognized for their outstanding sportsmanship as members of the 2019 Fall Sportsmanship Team.  Western Connecticut State University senior defensive lineman Malik Dawkins (Stamford, CT) is honored on the list along with eight other football student-athletes.

    CAMBRIDGE, MA – Western Connecticut State University sophomore wide receiver Will Daniels (Bethel, CT) has been named to the 2019 New England Football Writers College Division All‐New England Team.  Twenty‐nine players representing 20 different teams have been named to the coveted honor on Monday.

    WORCESTER, MA- Trailing 21-0 in the second quarter, the Western Connecticut State University football squad put together a stunning rally to upend host Worcester State University, 42-28, in the Lancers Homecoming contest at Coughlin Field on Saturday. With the win, the Colonials remained perfect, improving to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in league play, while Worcester State’s upset bid was spoiled as they dropped to 0-4 and 0-2.
