The William A. O'Neill Athletic & Convocation Center

Completed in 1995 and housed on the schools Westside campus (pictured above), the 80,000-square-foot William O'Neill Athletic and Convocation Center acts as a multi-purpose athletic facility for the Westside campus and houses many of WestConn's athletic and recreational offices. Equipped with a weight room, swimming pool and locker rooms, the O'Neill Center also contains the Feldman Arena, where WestConn's basketball and volleyball teams hold home competitions. The arena can seat 4,500 spectators and is often used for concerts, keynote speakers and a variety of college shows.
The O'Neill Center houses the athletics administrative offices and coach's offices for the baseball, basketball, cross country and track and field, ice hockey, softball, tennis, volleyball, and women's lacrosse teams.

Stephen Feldman Arena
The Stephen Feldman Arena opened in 1994 and has a seating capacity of 2,800. Named after a former Western Connecticut State University President, Feldman Arena was dedicated at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in January of 1995. The arena has hosted the world famous Harlem Globetrotters, home shows, concerts, trade shows, college and high school commencement ceremonies, the World Fly-Fishing Show, and several and other entertaining events. The 1999, 2000, and 2001 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championships welcomed collegiate basketball fans from around the nation to the Stephen Feldman Arena.
The Westside Athletic Complex (The WAC)
The Westside Athletic Complex opened in August of 2003 and seats 2,500 people. The stadium serves as the home field for the Wolves' field hockey, football, lacrosse, and soccer teams. The complex, adjacent to the William A. O'Neill Athletic and Convocation Center, was originally outfitted with state-of-the art SprintTurf. The field will be replaced by a state-of-the art FieldTurf surface in the summer of 2026.
Coaches' offices for field hockey, football, soccer, and men's lacrosse are housed in the structure's second floor. Several locker rooms and an athletic training room are housed on the lower level. A press box, two coaches boxes, two video platforms and a VIP room occupy the upper level.
Westside Baseball Field
Westside Baseball Field is located on Westside campus and will be found at your first right-hand turn when coming up University Boulevard. It is an enclosed, natural grass field with chain-linked fencing encompassing the entire playing area. Custom dugouts welcome the Wolves and their opponents. There is seating for approximately 500 fans and the facility features lights and a digital scoreboard.
Westside Softball Field
Westside Softball Field is located on Westside campus and found on the north side of the O'Neill Center. The diamond is an enclosed dirt and grass with chain-linked fencing encompassing the entire playing area. There are bleacher seats available for approximately 300 fans with an adjacent hill that can accommodate many more spectators.
Westside Tennis Courts
The Westside Courts are located on Westside campus and found west of the O'Neill Center and Westside Softball Field. It is asphalt painted in green with white lines. There are six courts, three of them lighted, giving the Wolves the opportunity to finish every home match.Â
Off Campus
Danbury Ice Arena
The Danbury Ice Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena located blocks from the Western Connecticut State University midtown campus that serves as home ice for the Wolves ice hockey teams. It was built in 1999 with renovation and expansion in 2004 and has a seating capacity for ice hockey of 2,000 plus 500 SRO. The arena has two separate rinks, Liberty and Patriot. Danbury Ice Arena is home to a professional team, the Danbury Hat Tricks of the Federal Prospects Hockey League, as well as a junior team in the North American Hockey League.
Richter Park Golf Course
Richter Park is home to the Wolves' golf teams. It is a challenging, Edward Ryder design 18-hole, par 71 course located in the western end of Danbury, Connecticut. This public course is among the finest you will play in the tri-state area. Water can come into play on this scenic layout on 14 out of 18 holes. The greens are a Bent/Poa mix and are well-guarded by one of the 49 newly-renovated bunkers surrounding the course. The undulating fairways are a mix of Blue/Rye.Â
Bethel HS Track and Field Training Center
The Bethel High School Track and Field Training Center is located at 300 Whittlesey Drive in Bethel, Connecticut. It is a state-of-the-art 48,000-square-foot facility that serves as the main practice site for the Wolves track and field teams. The complex features a 200-meter track, sprint lanes, and dedicated areas for pole vault, long jump, high jump, and shot put.Â
