Box Score DANBURY, Conn. - The Western Connecticut State University Wolves dropped a 7-0 decision against the visiting Rhode Island College Anchorwomen in Little East Conference (LEC) women's tennis action this afternoon at Rogers Park.

The Wolves fall to 2-6 overall and 1-2 in the LEC and the Anchorwomen are now 6-2 overall and 2-0 in the league.  WestConn will visit league rival Castleton next on Saturday at 1 p.m.  WestConn senior Kate Robinson (Brookfield, Conn.) and sophomore Eilynn Pierre (Queens Village, N.Y.) played the most competitive match in a 6-3 setback at first doubles.

"We knew going in that RIC is the team to beat for the conference and that wins would be difficult to earn," said WestConn Head Coach Shawn Stillman. "Nonetheless, our intensity  and our focus need to improve if we want to make the conference playoffs."
