MANCHESTER, Conn. — The Western Connecticut State University women's cross country team competed at the George Suitor Invitational hosted by Trinity College (Conn.) at Wickham Park on Saturday. The Wolves earned a team score of 354 for 11th place.
All six WestConn runners earned personal records in the 5K.
Mia Montero (New Providence, R.I.) was the first Wolf to cross the finish line with a time of 22:13.1 for 103rd place.
Katelyn Zaloski (Dambury, Conn.) clocked in with a time of 22:54.2, closely followed by
Raegan McCarthy (Bayport, N.Y.) and
Vienna Brocco (Roslyn, N.Y.) with times of 23:02.7 and 23:24.5, respectively. Rounding out WestConn wereÂ
Marisol Tapia (Danbury, Conn.) with a time of 25:11.9 and
Brianna DeSanctis (Danbury, Conn.) at 25:35.3.
The Wolves run next at the Keene State Invitational on October 3 at 10:30 a.m.
