WestConn Athletes Selected For LEC Fall All-Academic Team And Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE R.I. — The Western Connecticut State University fall athletic teams placed 41 Wolves on the Little East Conference (LEC) 2025 Fall All-Academic Team and 19 WestConn varsity programs combined to earn 246 LEC Fall Academic Honor Roll selections. To be selected to the Fall All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30.  A total of 426 student-athletes were honored by the league and six WestConn athletes collected all-conference and all-academic honors this autumn. The LEC announced a total of 2,745 student-athletes competing in the conference's 21 championship sports for the LEC Academic Honor Roll in recognition of their academic performance in the fall 2025 semester. To be named the LEC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a semester GPA of 3.00 or better and have been an active member of the team at the conclusion of the season.

WestConn field hockey seniors Miah Ruiz (New Fairfield, Conn.) and Reagan Schoen (Newtown, Conn.), men's soccer senior Nikolas Chevres (Miami, Fla.) and junior Aidan Roxo (Danbury, Conn.), and women's soccer senior Sophia Onek (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) and junior Gracen Regan (Monroe, N.J.) were each named to the LEC Fall All-Academic Team and an LEC All-Conference Team. WestConn volleyball senior Sydney Slupatchuk (New Milford, Conn.), men's cross country junior Kevin Dias (Danbury, Conn.), field hockey junior Alyssa Montalvo (Holbrook, N.Y.), women's tennis sophomore Ava Ciampi (Wolcott, Conn.), and women's cross country sophomore Marisol Tapia (Danbury, Conn.) each graced both the All-Academic squad and received an LEC Fall Sportsmanship award.
